All that was asked of them was to worship God devoting the religion absolutely to Him alone observe the contact prayers (Salat) and give the obligatory charity (Zakat). Such is the perfect religion. 98:5
English Translation of the Quran
Proclaiming One unifying religion for all the people. The Book is, without a doubt, a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. The Final Testament comes with built-in physical evidence that it is God's message to you; it is mathematically composed beyond human capability. This proves that God is the Truth, and that He revives the dead, and that He is Omnipotent. Our Salvation in the hereafter lies on upholding The Quran.
The Quran is God's Final Testament to the world. Unlike any other book, the Quran is taught by God (55:1-2); He teaches us what we need at the time we need it. This is why we read the Quran hundreds of times without getting bored. We can read a novel, for example, only once. But the Quran can be read an infinite number of times, and we derive new and valuable information from it every time.
Since the Quran is God's message to all the people, regardless of their language, the Quran is accessible to the believers, regardless of their language (41:44). This explains a profound phenomenon: the believers who do not know Arabic know the Quran better than the Arabic speaking unbelievers. Because of the invisible forces serving the Quran, it is readily and enjoyably accessible to the sincere believers, and utterly inaccessible to the unbelievers (17:45, 18:57, 56:79) - Rashad Khalifa

Rashad Khalifa's version of the Quran has been interpreted for the majority to receive the true message, to worship God alone through the Quran and disown all idols.
Rashad's footnote of 56:79 reads: The insincere who are not satisfied with the Quran alone are divinely prevented from understanding the Quran. This concept is repeated throughout the Quran (17:45, 18:57). Consequently they cannot understand this verse. For example, compare this translation of 7:3, 17:36, 41:44, & 56:79 with other translations.
None can grasp it except the purified. 56:79
The most well-known translators have incorrectly interpreted verse 56:79:
Sahih International: None touch it except the purified.
Yusuf Ali: Which none shall touch but those who are clean.
Shakir: None shall touch it save the purified ones.
This verse has been wrongly interpreted by many Muslim scholars leading some to impose unnecessary rules never authorised by God. One such rule is forbidding anyone to touch the Quran unless they first observe ablution! What this verse tells us is that no person can grasp the true meaning and message of the Quran unless this person has spiritually purified himself/herself by submitting to God alone. The pure worshippers of God, "ebad Allah al-mukhlaseen" (12:24, 38:83), who dedicate all their religion to God alone (39:11, 6:162), will be blessed with the understanding and the guidance of the Quran, while the insincere and the hypocrites will be blinded from understanding it (17:46). - A. Rashad Khalifa and A. Muhammad, the two translators of the Quran mentioned on this page, both follow the Quran alone and thus have been granted true understanding of the Quran. Others who translate the Quran for the wrong purposes i.e scholars for earnings have misinterpreted the original Arabic text, as God does not allow them to understand it.
When you read the Quran, We place an invisible barrier between you and those who do not believe in the Hereafter, and We place veils over their hearts to prevent them from understanding it and deafness in their ears, and when you commemorate your Lord in the Quran alone they turn their backs and run away in aversion. 17:45-46
